Zach Servideo ()

BOSTON, MA - Zach cut his teeth in Boston's tech scene at Cambridge Innovation Center, working with General Catalyst Partners' portfolio companies and spending time as a MassChallenge advisor. Zach has designed and led marketing programs for influential industry events such as ad:tech NY and SF, as well as innovative business platforms. He has helped name and create several brands (Opower, LiquidM, CloudLock) and introduced them to their respective markets.

Zach has spent the last decade bringing his energy and creative ideas to brands at the intersection of media, technology and commerce. He cut his teeth in Boston's tech scene at Cambridge Innovation Center, working with General Catalyst Partners' portfolio companies and spending time as a MassChallenge advisor. He has designed and led marketing efforts for influential industry events such as ad:tech NY and SF, as well as innovative business platforms such as Appcelerator, Beachfront Media, Crowd Companies, Epoxy, HeyWire, Medialets, NativeX, Retroficiency, TweetMyJobs (acquired by CareerArc Group), Yodo1 and many more. He helped name and build the Opower and LiquidM brands and introduce each company to the energy tech and ad tech markets, respectively.

Zach spent time learning the ropes at prestigious Boston agencies Schwartz Communications (now Schwartz MSL), SHIFT Communications and fama PR, and he was most recently Principal at SF-based theMIX agency overseeing the company’s LA expansion. In September 2014, he became a partner at Fabric Media, a marketing, media and business development group focused on building companies at the intersection of media and technology. As a partner, Zach co-leads programs with Founder Jason Damata and works closely with media publishers, social networks and TV networks to innovate traditional content formats with new digital experiences, insights and content strategies.

 

Zach grew up in Boston, attended Boston University’s College of Communication and graduated Cum Laude. He spent the past two years living in Los Angeles and in 2015 is transitioning back to Boston to manage Fabric Media’s East Coast business and start a family with his fiancee Elizabeth and their dog Lucky. Zach’s energy and enthusiasm for life extends into fitness where he completed the Malibu, Los Angeles and Catalina Island triathlons in 2013-2014; he has his eyes set on his first Ironman in 2015-2016.
